On Screen Advertising Opportunities

We have BIG Screens. Two of them. And they mean BIG opportunities for advertising at affordable rates–especially cost-effective for our local small business neighbors. Pre-film advertisements, as part of our previews, capture the attention of the diverse audiences drawn to The Tull Family Theater in a distraction-free environment. Many moviegoers consider previews part of the show and look forward to them! The patrons are relaxed, receptive and already spending their time out and about.

Studies show that over half of movie patrons eat out before or after movies. Nearly one in four will go shopping before or after the film. Advertising with The Tull Family Theater is surprisingly affordable. Here are some opportunities to reach a captive audience interested in spending their time and money well:

Presentation Slides (Still)

Are you having a special sale or a promotion? Share word with The Tull Family Theater patrons looking for an after-movie moment! A larger-than-life presentation will reinforce your message with the audience. Repeated viewing, 2-3 times before each show for 10 to 12 seconds, takes your message home. For more information, please contact karen@thetullfamilytheater.org.

Video or Animation

If your 15- to 30-second video commercials are already running online or on TV, see them in their full glory on the big screen! For information, contact karen@thetullfamilytheater.org.

Technical Suggestions

  • Avoid pure white. In such a large size with a powerful projector, it may be too bright and become uncomfortable for viewers to watch.
  • No need to scream, either in sound or in type. Keep your font size in proportion with the rest of the elements.
  • Limit copy to 20 to 30 words so the most important parts of your message get in front of your audience. You want them to read and remember the key message on the screen, like your address and website.
  • Slides will be accepted in PSD, TIFF or JPEG formats.
