Youngsters to Experience Big Screen For First Time at The Tull Family Theater, with Program Sponsored by HealthSouth of Sewickley
March 19, 2017
WHAT: The Mooncrest Neighborhood Program, operated by the Felician Sisters, has provided an after-school program to children in this Moon Township housing plan for years. On a day when Moon Area School were not in session, knowing that a big screen experience could be available to children less than 10 minutes away, the program organizers reached out to The Tull Family Theater, which in turn, reached out to possible sponsors.
HealthSouth of Sewickley stepped forward to underwrite this initial outreach program for the busload of children. Through its underwriting, the rehabilitation hospital is providing transportation, tickets and snacks for the 50 children, ages 6 to 10, who will be introduced to the cultural experience of cinema.
WHEN: Arriving at 12:30 p.m. Monday, March 20, for the 1 p.m. screening of Beauty and the Beast
WHERE: The Tull Family Theater, 418 Walnut St., Sewickley 15143
