The Tull Family Theater Greets Its First Patrons
The very first patrons walked into the Tull Family Theater this morning for the inaugural matinee–La La Land.
Rosanne and Stephen Robinson of Hopewell Township were the first customers.
They came, Stephen said, “Because I’m retired one month and lucky to get a date with my wife!”
“Hey, we’re home,” said Rosanne, explaining that she was excited to be at the theater’s first showing at 11:30 a.m. today.
On Friday, Saturday and Sunday, La La Land, one of history’s most Oscar-award happy nominees, will screen at 11:30 a.m., 2:15 p.m., 5:215 p.m. and 8:30 p.m.
It will be paired with Pittsburgh-written and -filmed Fences, at 2:40 p.m. and 7:45 p.m. Friday through Saturday and Sunday, starring Denzel Washington and Viola Davis.
A documentary geared to families and nature lovers, The Eagle Huntress, captures a young Mongolian girl as she challenges centuries of gender definition in her culture. Showtimes are 12:30 p.m. and 5:40 p.m. Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
