Cultural Screenings, films that showcase music, dance and art around the world, are screened on the third Thursday of each month. Think of this series as armchair travel with a cultural bend, a larger-than-life window on places, exhibits and shows you may wonder about but not be able to visit first-hand.

We are very proud to be only the second cinema in the Pittsburgh area to offer the entire series of productions from London’s prestigious National Theatre. This offering combines the best of world stage productions with captured live with fabulous cinematography, providing our guests with what NT Live calls “the best seats in the house” and gives our guests a chance to see the best of two art forms.

Presenting a very new option to this area for the highest quality theatrical productions in the world aligns with The Tull Family Theater mission to strengthen cultural options northwest of Pittsburgh.

The schedule starts with the all-ages show, Peter Pan, bringing over-the-top costuming and circus flair to the stage. Thursday, June 15 at 7:30 p.m. and  Sunday, June 25, at 12:30 p.m.

Also in the series:

  • Salome, Thursday, July 20, and Sunday, July 30
  • Angels in America Part One: Millennium Approaches, Thursday, Aug. 17
  • Angels in America Part Two: Perestroika, Sunday, Aug. 27
  • Yerma, Thursday, Oct. 19 and Sunday Oct. 29.

Tickets will be available at least two weeks in advance of each screening.

As a way of introducing residents in communities beyond the city to these significant cultural gems, ticket prices for shows through the end of October will be only $16. After this introductory period, the show price will be the regular $20 rate.
