Cultural Screenings, films showcasing music, dance and art around the world on the third Thursday of each month. Think of this series as armchair travel with a cultural bend, a larger-than-life window on places, exhibits and shows you may wonder about but not be able to visit first-hand.

The series will  start on March 23,  at 7 p.m.,  exploring distant artistic treasures with Hermitage Revealed. (We realize this is not the third Thursday, but adjusted this month’s schedule to accommodate Beauty and the Beast. Please forgive us any inconvenience.) The Margy Kinmonth film shares more than 250 years of history as the treasures grew from an imperial palace collection to a state museum of amazing proportion.

We won’t tell anybody if you don’t genteelly hold out your pinky for the entire film. But we hope you tell EVERYBODY if your jaw drops to the floor!
